Early Zuni Pueblo Silver & Turquoise Bracelet-31 Hand-Cut Stones-Native American. Circa 1930's - 1940's.

Stunning old Zuni sterling silver and turquoise bracelet. Decorated with thirty-one hand-cut and polished, rectangular and square shaped turquoise stones. And with 64 small silver beads soldered onto the bracelet between the set stones. There is stamp-work decoration at either end of the bracelet and the sheet silver body of the bracelet is edged and decorated between the three rows with silver wire. This bracelet is a beautiful example of early Zuni work and looks great when worn.

The turquoise stones are varied in color and shape, some have spiderweb matrix and some with no matrix or a varied matrix. The center stone in the center row is higher and has a rounded pyramid cut to it.

The silver has developed an old darkened patina and I have not polished it. SIZE : Wrist opening - 1 1/8. Bracelet end to end - 5 1/2.

TOTAL WRIST SIZE : 6 5/8. TOTAL WEIGHT : 83.7 grams. Good antique condition as shown in the photographs and with the following noted: Two stones with old stable cracks but with no losses. One is next to the center stone of the center row and the other is one stone in from one end on an outside row (please see close-up photos).

Darkened patina, slight remnants of silver polish in some crevices, and good wear and patina to the inside of the bracelet. This piece will be a quality addition to any collection of Native American or Southwest Jewelry. Serious offers are always welcome. This object comes from a smoke-free, pet-free environment.
