It is made from dyed bear grass with cedar bark. This bottles incorporates the wrapped twines technique which is able to produce small, delicate, finely tuned work such as this example.There is a wonderful patina to this old bottle. The measurements are 8 1/2 " H and a width of 3 1/4".
The weaving is in very good condition with expected wear and minor material loss on the bottom as shown in photo.
