Up for your collection is this historic Native American Acoma Pueblo pottery vase that has been in my family since early 1900s. She had a master's degree from the University of Illinois.
She taught high school English and French. Grandpa who was an anthropologist and archaeologist owned it ever since. He was an avid collector of many different subjects. I will be listing part of his collections. Most of Acoma pottery vessels made before 1950s are not signed.
This vase is signed Pueblo Acoma N. M, but without the name of the artist/potter. Condition of vase: antique condition, wear and rubbing of paint consistent with age. Height: approximately 4.53 inches.
