Big Early Old Pawn Navajo Sterling Silver Dramatic Petrified Wood Cuff Bracelet

  

On offer is an authentic, stunning old NAVAJO hand wrought. Adorned with three (3) outstanding, colorful. We believe this early pawn.

Created circa 1940's or perhaps earlier. It is not hallmarked which was quite common in earlier Native American silver and stone jewelry. Is skillfully executed in the NAVAJO technique with attention to detail and. Is in very good vintage condition (see photos for an accurate detailed depiction). One of the bands has a split on the back of the cuff that does not affect the appearance, wearability or strength of the piece.

The cuff is adorned with hand stamped crescent motifs, raindrops and applied silver rope. The natural, southwestern desert hue. Abochon stones are all in very good condition with no chips or cracks and are firmly set in smooth silver bezels. Any lines or marks on the stones are natural inclusions. Overall, the bracelet measures approx.

1 7/8" tapering to 9/16" wide. The oval and triangle shaped stones are approx. 1 1/2" long x 3/4" wide for the central oval cabochon; and 1" long x 5/8" wide for the two (2) triangle cabochons. The interior circumference of the cuff bracelet is approx. 6 1/2" including a 1 1/4" opening. The cuff weighs a hefty 51.2 grams - 1.65 ounce. 925 sterling silver and desert southwestern petrified agatized wood cuff bracelet would make a fine addition to any Native American Silver and Stone Jewelry, American Southwest Petrified Wood or Cultural Arts and Crafts collection.
