This is one of my favorite pieces of beadwork from the early 1900's - a black, white, brown and green beaded bag lined with a nice patterned fabric (see photos). This beaded bag is in good condition for its age. The handle has missing beads. The bag itself has all the beads present and firmly attached.
2 3/4" wide x 3" from top to bottom of bag without looped beaded fringe. This is a lovely bag with rich cultural history and skilled beadwork artistry. All hand-sewn with careful stitches and a beautiful design.
The design is different on each side of the bag - see photos. This item is in the category "Collectibles\Cultures & Ethnicities\Native American: US\1800-1934\Beads & Beadwork".
