Early 1900's Hopi MORRIS ROBINSON Hand Crafted Sterling & Turquoise Belt Buckle

  
Morris Robinson known as one of the first master silversmiths was from the Hopi Third Mesa and a member of the Snake Clan. His innovative designs separated him among his peers including Allen Pooyouma, Ralph Tawangyawma, Harold Jenkins. His pieces are highly collectible and are displayed in Museums across the country. Robinsons craft work helped influence the next generation of contemporary Hopi artists including the famous Charles Loloma and the legendary Preston Monongye. You are looking at a fine example of Morris Robinsons craftsmanship.

This is an early 1900's Hand crafted sterling silver belt buckle set with a gorgeous turquoise stone. Wonderful overall design set with an eye catching stone.

Very nice signature stamp on the back of the buckle. The mark is Robinsons signature which consists of a pictoral snake under the letter H. I added Plenty of pictures including measurements & weight for you to see. The buckle also comes with a beautiful premium leather belt.

The belt with buckle length is roughly 42 long. This fine Native treasure piece will make an excellent addition to any Native American collection.
