Early 19th Century Native American Papoose Cradle Board. It is constructed of several materials. This is a rare one of a kind Rare find! My grandparents kept this displayed for years in their Library. It was from my great-great grandmother! So it's 4-generations old in my family to my knowledge! My grandparents were Comanche Native American this was made by my great-great grandmother. The Southern ones were made like this to keep the sun off the baby as it's so hot in The South!
