This is a listing for a vintage Native American cuff hand wrought from sterling and set with a double row of high grade turquoise stones. It is stamped with the artist's hallmark, a pictorial hallmark that I've seen one other time, but not been able to identify.

There are some pawn numbers scratched onto the back and an owner's signature done in dremmeled cursive and dated 1961. I believe the bracelet is much much older than 1961. It has all the hallmarks of an early century piece. The bracelet is forged with very strong gauged sterling and edged with a thick roll of silver. It's as strong as an ingot silver piece but made with heavy sheet silver with a thick rolled edge overlay and can not be adjusted.

It's inside tip to tip, not including the gap, measures 5 and 3/8th inches and the gap measures just shy of 1 and 3/8th inches for a total wearing length of 6.75 inches. It's 1.25 inches in width across the entire front of the band.

The sides gently taper to. 5 inch terminals which have a nicely filed tapered edge It weighs a sturdy 67 grams.

The turquoise is very high grade, natural with a strong hard polish... Very characteristic of stone from the Blue Gem mine. There is a fine surface fissure on one stone, very difficult to find with the naked eye, even when trying, and completely secure. The color of the turquoise is a rich solid blue and each stone was masterfully cut into a tear drop shape with a few ovals, and set with hand made deep bezels that protect the stone. They measure approximately 8mm in length by 4mm in width.

A row of hand poured silver drops divide the stones and the rolled edges are simply and elegantly chiseled. The simplicity of this piece showcases the masterful workmanship of the silversmith and the gemstone quality of the turquoise. It will arrive first class with signature confirmation.
