EARLY NA 1940s OLD PAWN NAVAJO STERLING SILVER JET ONXY MOP PENGUINE BOLO TIE

For your consideration is an early, vintage 1940's Old Pawn Native American Navajo made Jet Onyx and Mother of Pearl inlaid Penguin bolo tie necklace. It is made of Sterling Silver and natural hand cut stones.

It is an unsigned beauty, but tests positive for Sterling Silver. It is a fabulous rare design with the figural penguin. The stones are in great condition and look hand polished. It comes on a black leather cord with Sterling Silver stamped end caps that are hand stamped.

The cord with end caps measures approximately 35 from end to end. The back pressure clasp is an early design and pre-dates the Bennet style clasp. This is a wonderful, early piece with untreated natural stones. The color in the photos are fairly close to the actual piece, but it was hard to photograph. Please keep in mind that there may be possible variations in color due to different screens or monitor settings that it may be viewed on.
