Early Navajo Child's Wearing Blanket Circa 1890s Stripes, Soft Wools

  

This is an early Navajo Child's Wearing blanket. It looks to be circa. It has been woven of very soft wools. It just came out of an Arizona collection.

The size is 48" x 34 1/2". It is in poor condition with some wool missing on the side. Most of the warps are still present and there are a couple of thin areas where the warp is showing through. There is some missing wool in the selvage area. Still, this is a great old striped blanket from an earlier time.

This historical piece could be restored. It has been priced accordingly. Both sides are shown in the photos.
