EARLY NAVAJO FRED HARVEY ERA STERLING SILVER TURQUOISE CUFF BRACELET with SNAKES

  

On offer is an authentic, vintage Fred Harvey Era NAVAJO hand wrought ornate. 925 sterling silver split cuff bracelet adorned with a natural hand-cut and polished southwestern desert blue turquoise cabochon stone surrounded by two (2) fancy silver coiled ropes with raindrops, and hand tooled rattlesnakes, rattlesnake jaws and other decorative motifs. This bracelet is not hallmarked which was quite common in earlier Native American jewelry prior to 1970.

We believe it was created circa 1940 or perhaps earlier. This classic historic bracelet was skillfully crafted in the traditional old Harvey Era NAVAJO technique with attention to detail and is in very good vintage condition (please see ALL photos for an accurate detailed depiction).

The natural desert blue turquoise cabochon stone is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. The oval shaped turquoise stone is firmly and securely set in a smooth silver bezel and measures approx. 15/16 " long x 9/16" wide. This fancy Harvey era cuff bracelet measures approx. 1 5/16" tapering to 1/2" wide.

The interior circumference of the cuff is approx. 6 3/4" TOTAL including 1 1/4" opening.

The cuff has a bit of flexibility for very careful adjusting.
