Early R C Gorman Original Oil on Canvas Series of 5 Similar Born of Water Mask

  

Rare example of R C Gorman's early painting. This series of 5 paintings is similar to Gorman's work titled "Born of Water" and his Mask series of which only lithographs exist. Each painting is in excellent condition. The signature R C used is indicative of his early work from the 60's and 70's. A search of early works show the same block lettering.

Numbered on reverse 1 - 5. #5 is signed L/R & Dated on side Measure: 18" x 16" each. More information on the reverse (See pictures) Untitled (maybe from his Mask series, similar to Born of Water Litho) Private Estate. They are numbered on the reverse 1 thru 5 with arrows and instructions for display. Gorman wanted them to be displayed in series and from right to left.
