Early Unsigned NAVAJO TOMMY JACKSON Sterling Silver 10 Bears Concho Belt

  
Although unsigned and not marked for silver content (tests positive as sterling silver), by comparison with other belts, you can clearly see that this belt was made by Tommy Jackson. The bears are identical, and the leather is the same. I believe the belt here is an early version that had two bears in front that hook together rather than a central buckle.

Note that the bears in front are back-to-back, and in back they are front-to-front. Each bear is 2.7 inches by 1.7 inches and weighs about 36 grams. As it is, the belt is 40 inches long, but you can shorten it by adjusting the leather on one end and then repositioning the bears evenly, or even removing one if necessary.

It can only be made longer by adding the bears to a longer belt. Total weight of the belt is 433 grams, approximately 360 grams of this is sterling silver.
