On offer is an authentic, ornate vintage Fred Harvey era N AVAJO hand wrought. 925 sterling silver three (3) band, including two (2) carinated angle bands, cuff bracelet adorned with a fantastic large natural Smokey Bisbee, Arizona turquoise stone. This bracelet is not hallmarked which was quite common in earlier Native American jewelry. We believe this historic cuff was created circa 1940 or perhaps earlier.

This traditional museum quality cuff bracelet is skillfully executed in the old NAVAJO technique with attention to detail and is in very good vintage condition (see photos for an accurate detailed depiction) It is also decorated with hand stamped crescent motifs, applied nail-heads, wire work and stylized cactus flowers. The large natural, rectangle shaped old Smokey Bisbee cabochon stone is in very good condition with no chips or cracks and is firmly and securely set in a smooth silver bezel surrounded by fancy wire work and rope.

1 3/8" long x 1 1/8" wide. The bracelet plaque measures approx. 1 3/4" long x 1 3/8" wide. 1 3/4 tapering to 7/8" wide with an interior circumference of 6 1/2" including the 1 opening. The cuff has a wee bit of flexibility.

It weighs a very hefty 72.9 grams - 2.34 ounces. This outstanding, well crafted Fred Harvey era NAVAJO.

925 sterling silver and natural southwestern Smokey Bisbee, Arizona turquoise bracelet would make a fine addition to any Twentieth Century Native American Silver and Stone Jewelry, Historic Southwest American Turquoise or Cultural Arts and Crafts collection. We have been involved in the design and creation of contemporary jewelry at the undergraduate and postgraduate level since 1967. In 1975 we opened a gallery of hand wrought fine art contemporary jewels and have since handled thousands of unique, one of a kind and limited edition pieces crafted predominantly by American artisans with a special emphasis on Native American Art. Will be determined upon request.
