Early Vintage Old Pawn Navajo Sterling Silver 5 Green Turquoise Cuff Bracelet

  

On offer is an authentic, vintage N AVAJO hand wrought. 925 sterling silver cuff bracelet adorned with five (5) large southwestern hand-cut and polished thick natural gem quality spiderweb turquoise cabochon stones. These spectacular stones range in color from deep desert blue to the old green that comes from age.

This bracelet is not hallmarked which was quite common in earlier Native American jewelry. We believe this historic cuff was created circa 1940 or perhaps earlier. This traditional museum quality cuff bracelet is skillfully executed in the old NAVAJO technique with attention to detail and is in very good vintage condition (please see ALL photos for an accurate detailed depiction). The five (5) large thick natural oval shaped cabochon turquoise stones are in very good condition with no chips or cracks and are firmly and securely set in smooth silver bezels surrounded by fancy filigree wire work on oxidized (darkened) scalloped plaques. The stones measure from approx.

1 1/8" long x 3/4" wide to 3/4" long x 5/8" wide. Overall, the double half round banded cuff measures approx. 1 1/2" t apering to 3/8" wide with an interior circumference of approx. 7" including the 1 1/2" opening.

The cuff has a wee bit of flexibility and weighs a very hefty 68.5 grams - 2.2 ounces.
