This smoker of a point in my opinion... Is either a dovetail or in the Kirk cluster family (Kirk, Pulaski, Stilwell, Neuberger). Found in Fulton County IllinoisIt is 3 3/4 inches long and is made from a very high grade piece of Burlington chert with some beautiful inclusions. The overshot flaking and general thinness/basal grinding indicates that this point is very early archaic in age. It is extremely well made!!
Ex-Mitch Lewis (one of the best). Sure to make a killer addition to any early archaic frame!
