Harry Sakyesva (1921 - 1969) was a Hopi artist who was born in Hotevilla, a Hopi village on Third Mesa, Arizona. Sakyesva translates to People from the Green Valley.

Snodgrass describes Sakyesva as being known not only as a painter, but also as a maker of Kachina dolls and as a silversmith. She also notes that he received no formal art training. Sakyesva exhibited at the Museum of New Mexico, Philbrook Art Center, and the Guadalupe Gallery in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Sakyesva was primarily known as a silversmith. His work is published in several books and magazines.

His art and jewelry are very rare to find and are highly collectible. Sakyesva died in Scottsdale on Oct.

Wonderful carinated split band held with a braided bad across the center. Very nice design and stamp work on the bracelets face. Still has its natural dark patina on the silver. Also notice the size and color on this eye catching turquoise stone. It is handmade and signed by legendary Native American Hopi Artist/silversmith Harry Sakyesva.

This is a rare and highly collectible piece. Extremely hard to find pieces like this. The inside measurement from tip to tip is roughly 5 1/4, the opening gap measurement is roughly 1 3/4 and it weighs a solid 62+ grams. I took a lot of pictures for you to see.

Additional measurements and signature are also in the pictures. Take advantage of owning a very rare Native treasure piece. The item "Important Early Hopi Harry Sakyesva Sterling With Stunning Turquoise Cuff BRACELET" is in sale since Wednesday, October 20, 2021.
