It tested positive for sterling. We believe this ring was created circa 1960 or perhaps earlier. This classical fancy double split band ring was skillfully crafted with attention to detail in the NAVAJO tradition and is in very good vintage condition (please see ALL photos for an accurate detailed depiction). The natural hand-cut and polished southwestern desert blue turquoise cabochon stone is in very good condition with no chips or cracks and is securely set in a smooth silver bezel. The beautiful stone measures approx.
5/8" long x 3/8" wide. The gem quality turquoise is characteristic of material from mines in northern Nevada. Overall, the ring plaque measures approx. 1" long x 9/16" wide; the fancy double split shank is approx.
