LARGE EARLY VINTAGE NAVAJO STERLING SILVER FINE NATURAL WEB TURQUOISE RING sz 12

  

On offer is an authentic, big handsome vintage NAVAJO hand wrought. 925 sterling silver ring adorned with a beautiful natural hand-cut and polished southwestern desert blue green cabochon turquoise stone. The turquoise is characteristic of material from northern Nevada. This ring is not hallmarked which was common in Native American Silver work prior to 1970's.

We believe the ring was created circa 1940. It tested positive for sterling. This classical triple band ring was skillfully crafted with attention to detail in the NAVAJO tradition and is in very good vintage condition (please see ALL photos for an accurate detailed depiction).

The natural hand-cut and polished southwestern desert blue green turquoise cabochon with golden brown matrix inclusions is in very good condition with no chips or cracks and is securely set in a serrated silver bezel. The color of the stone is slightly darker than the photographs. This beautiful unique stone measures approx. 1" long x 11/16" wide. Overall, the ring's triple split shank is approx.

1/2" tapering to 3/16" wide. This NAVAJO ring will fit approx.
