Rare Antique Early 1900's Navajo Carved Bovine Silver Treasure Fetish Necklace

  

For your consideration please find this Stunning and Incredibly Rare Antique, Early 1900's Navajo Native American Carved Bovine? There are several agate stone beads and what I believe are malachite beads, along with one strange blue victorian looking glass bead. As you may be able to see in my 3rd photograph, there is a white knot above the elongated striped silver bead. It is clear to me that this layer had been repaired at some point and knotted. This necklace was given to me by my husband's aunt who worked for the Bureau of Indian Affairs back in the 1950's and 1960's.

She would have been 102 years old. When this item was given to me, I was told by her that this was one of the oldest pieces from her collection.

She thought it was already very old when she had acquired it. Although she had a ledger that catalogued many of her art works and jewelry, this one was not included. There are no signatures nor markings for sterling. I find this item museum quality and truly a historical piece.
