This relic measures at 2 ½" x 1 9/16" x 3/8 and has bifacial random percussion followed by multiple stages of direct pressure flaking resulting in steep alternate left hand blade edge bevels. This point is heavily patinated with a wax luster and strong mineral deposits, it has jagged blade edge serrations and a heavily ground basal margin with angled notches. Condition is very good where the maker reduced the original blade size by at least 40% and took great care to maintain this relic in serviceable condition, G7 Quality. Was reportedly found on private properly in Licking County, Ohio x Dr. James Snyder, Jim Phillips, and Miguel Hughes Collections and has a Jackson COA dated 7.8.2002.
