Very Early Santo Domingo Pueblo Polychrome Pottery 8.75 Vase

  
For sale is a very early ca. 1920's - 1930's Santo Domingo Pueblo polychrome pottery vase that is about 8 3/4" tall by about 5 1/2" at the widest point. The underside body and interior are slipped in red clay, and the black pigment of the flowers and red clay leaves are painted on a bentonite slip. The rim is also black pigment. Overall, the vase is in quite good condition, with wear and some slight discoloration that are commensurate with its age.

I see no damage beyond that to call out.
