Very Fine Large Early 1900 (1st quarter) Native American Northwest Coast Basketery Bottle with Band of Pinkish Red on Bottom (faded). This basketery bottle is a puzzle to me. I have had many basketery bottle from Northwest coast tribes (Tlingit, Tsimshian, Makah & Nootka) but I can not pinpoint which tribe might have done this.
It's possibly from one of Washington state tribe, Quinault, Chehalis or NIsqually? The basket is in good condition with fading on bottom part of basket(redish pink) and broken/cracked glass on inner lip but intact. Please review all the photos. Feel free to ask me any questions and I will gladly answer any questions you might have. Overall Dimensions: 9.5"H x 2.5"D base x 2.5W base.
