This pin / brooch is not hallmarked which was quite common in Native American jewelry prior to the 1970's. We believe this pin / brooch was created circa 1940's or perhaps earlier. This exquisite pin / brooch was skillfully crafted with attention to detail in the NAVAJO tradition and is in very good vintage condition. Any white marks or spots are lighting reflections and not flaws. (please see ALL photos for an accurate detailed depiction).
The pin back is in good working order. The large hand-cut and polished southwest turquoise diamond shaped stone is in very good condition with no chips or cracks and is securely set in a plain silver bezel.
