Vintage Navajo Allen Chee Sterling Flying Eagles Cuff Watch Bracelet No Watch

  
Please see the listing photos for contents and condition. This cuff watch bracelet is previously owned and shows some wear from use and age. There are some tiny light scratches and there are small dark spots of tarnish and dust in the crevices. On both sides of the inside, there are dark areas that did not turn silver when polished. One side is darker than the other. It is my experience that these spots look like areas of silver-plated jewelry where the plating has worn off so it is possible that this bracelet is not Sterling silver as marked. It does NOT stick to a magnet.

A few of the edges of the eagles move slightly when pushed, but they do not feel like they will come loose. The weight is 75 grams (2.7 ounces). It measures three inches long. It is 1 1/2 inches wide at the eagles on the sides. The opening in the back is 1 1/4 inches and stretches an additional 1/8 inch.

There is an ALLEN CHEE engraved on the inside and the word Sterling (in a different font). Other similar Allen Chee bracelets for sale identify the gold accented areas as gold-filled. The inside silver flaps that would hold a watch are pliable. The outer gold flaps do not move. The space between the gold flaps is 1 3/4 inches.

I do not know when it was made. Any information about this bracelet would be appreciated. I have a sillier Allen Chee cuff bracelet for sale.
