Vintage Old Pawn Navajo Knife Edge Sterling Silver Big Turquoise Cuff Bracelet

  

On offer is an authentic, vintage N AVAJO hand wrought. 925 sterling silver carinated knife edge cuff bracelet adorned with a large southwestern sky blue hand-cut and polished natural gem quality turquoise cabochon stone and hand filed motifs. The beautiful stone is most likely from the mine regions of northern Nevada. This impressive classic s ilver cuff bracelet is not hallmarked which was quite common in earlier Native American jewelry prior to the 1970's.

We believe this cuff was created circa 1960 or perhaps earlier. This traditional cuff bracelet was skillfully crafted in the old NAVAJO technique with attention to detail and is in very good vintage condition (please see ALL photos for an accurate detailed depiction). The fine natural shaped cabochon turquoise stone is in very good condition with no chips or cracks, and is firmly and securely set in a smooth silver bezel surrounded by raindrop beading.

15/16" long x 5/8" wide. Overall, the carinated knife edge cuff measures approx. 1/4 wide and the plaque is approx. 1 1/8" long x 7/8" wide. The bracelet has an interior circumference of approx.

7" including the 1 3/8" opening. The cuff has a bit of flexibility for careful adjusting, and weighs a hefty 33.7 grams - 1.08 ounces.
